What is my target?

I have had a lot of people ask me recently: “what is your goal weight”, “what is your target” etc.

I always gave them an honest answer, which was: “I don’t know” because I didn’t actually know!!

But I do now, so here goes…

This is a lifestyle change for me, not a quick fix, I understand it will take time, and I want to do it properly.

As much as I would love a quick fix and to wake up tomorrow at  size 10 I just think for me I need something slow and steady in order to maintain it for the rest of my life.

The reality is I have to lose a person. In fact my boyfriend weighs around what I need to lose and he’s over 6ft!!!!

So here goes.

In aprox two years time I will graduate (all being well) from Falmouth University with a degree in Journalism and want I really want is to be able to walk head held high, in my graduation cap and gown and be the best possible version of me.

My dream aim for my graduation is a size 12 (although I wouldn’t be too disappointed if I was a 14)

So two years, aprox 12/13 stone, and 6 or 7 dress sizes.

I can do this. ❤

  1. Yes, you can! I often say “I don’t know” when asked this question, too. I hide my goal from people in fear that they’ll be like “WTHeck! You must weight a ton now!” LOL I have realistic goals and my goal weight right now is to see 199lbs (14 + stone I think?). My ultimate goal is to see 170lbs (12+ stone). I have to lose 120 lbs to make that 170lb goal, though! I try not to concentrate on getting there….I set mini goals for the journey!

      I’ve set goals for now for clothes sizes, so currently now I wear a 22/24 uk size, my next goal is to get to a 20, then 18, then 14, then 12 ❤ if you do it in manageable chunks it is so much easier and less daunting don't you think? How is your plan going? 🙂 xxxx

      • That’s a great plan 🙂 Smaller chunks feels a lot more attainable! My plan is going pretty good. I’m down 9.7lbs in 3 weeks, which is slower than I thought since I’m so heavy, but I’ll take slow and steady over a gain! 😛 The eating isn’t too difficult, but I’m getting closer to that time of the month and when I get close I start getting hungrier than normal….I need to drink more water to feel full! How are you doing sticking to yours?!

  2. Well I only actually weighed myself on Tuesday for the first time in a good year or two. I was just over 22 stone when I weighed myself so about 308lbs (I think) Since then I did do a cheeky weigh in yesterday and today i’m under the 21 stone mark now so feeling really positive 🙂

    I’m doing really well thanks, luckily I have lots of support, and I do cheeky things like fill up on diet coke and no sugar fizzy flavoured water. Still eating and defo not starving but the drink fills my stomach up when it thinks it’s hungry (it usually thinks it is hungry far too often!)

    Oh and frozen grapes mmmmmmmmmmm

    I don’t know what plan you are using but I find things like mini chuppa chup lollies have next to no calories in them so if i’m desperate i’ll have one of those to take the sweet edge off and feel like a little treat 🙂 ❤
