Recently I’ve been craving dauphinoise potatoes, but lets face it the syns are astronomical. So I set about making an alternative low syn/syn free version.
Reduced fat cheddar
Thinly slice peeled potatoes. How many you use is entirely up to you!
Once sliced layer the potatoes in an oven dish, seasoning every other layer.
Make enough chicken stock to cover the potatoes, then combine philadelphia cheese with the stock, 35g per person (1/2 HeA or 3 syns) once mixed pour on to the potatoes and then top with 20g reduced fat cheddar (1/2 HeA or 3 syns)
Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Serve and enjoy. Easy and delicious.
